Items Discussed:

I.                    Committee Reports:

a.       Outreach – Another shoe drive will be arranged in spring around spring sports; Atlantic 10 Food drive will be Feb. 15^th during mbb game vs. Richmond; Homecoming Blood Drive 1/31 – competition w/Association of Nursing Students; Special Olympics event 4/8 at the track; Next meeting of Outreach Committee – 1/18 in AAC at 8:00 a.m.; Verburg to see if we can get barrels back or come up with something to collect food and shoes in for those drives.

b.      Social – jenna to arrange meeting prior to next meeting.

c.       Spirit – Work with Homecoming group to pass out schedule cards for spring sports during HC camp out; possibly have some food also passed out sponsored by SAAC; Code Green games for Baseball, softball and men’s & women’s tennis will be emailed to Kim ASAP; WBB is 1/20; Track is 3/16-3/18 and A-10 Championship; Have a Lutz look a like contest for a promotion for one of the games…

II.                 Dates for SAAC Members Calendars:

a.       January 19 at 7:00 p.m. – MLK speaker at McKnight Hall

b.      January 28 from 8 – noon – ATAC Video Room – Leadership Seminar

c.       January 31 – Blood Drive

a.       Eli discussed A-10 Conference Calls.

b.      Zvi discussed the NCAA Leadership Seminar…thought it was a huge honor and learned a ton!  Tried to show the video but had some technical difficulties – will show at a different time.

c.       Reminder:  National Eating Disorder Week is 2/26 – ¾.

d.      Homecoming and MLK  Celebration activities were passed out so each member has all of the activities being done during those two weeks.
